1on1 is a collective devoted to elevating the narrative and experience of Arab and Muslim Americans. Co-founded and launched in 2017 by designers Wael Morcos and Lynn Amhaz (with the support of The Funds for the City of New York, The William and Mary Greve Foundation and Michael Rock from 2x4), 1on1 collaborated with DJÖYN to develop its pilot project, social media handles on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter and blog, that includes original content by designers, editors and members of the community. Future projects are in the works for 2019 including branded merchandise and the second 1on1nights community meet-up planned to take place in Chicago, IL.
